Can Rian
In the village there are several houses related to the Rian family. This one, located in carrer Curt on the corner of carrer del Tresorer, is one of them.
Can Rian
House owned by a branch of the extensive Rian family, a family of musicians of French origin. The first known Rian in Mallorca (specifically in Manacor) is Joan Rian, born in Toulouse in 1783. In Sa Pobla we find the first Rian in 1847, almost always appearing as carpenters and musicians. The brothers Joan (1878-1969) and Antoni Rian i Cladera (1884-1975), directors of the music band of Sa Pobla, created in 1869, lived in this house in Curt street, formerly the church, until they had a family of their own.

Isabel Cerdà i Soler, can also be included in the Rian family. Her mother was a Rian by lineage, and she herself acknowledged that her life force comes from these ancestors.
