Parròquia de Sant Antoni Abat

Parish church of sa Pobla dedicated to Saint Anthony Abbot. Following the foundation of sa Pobla d'Uialfàs by King Jaume II in 1300, an initial small chapel was built. In 1697, the construction of the current church began, thanks to the impulse of the rector Tomàs Serra. The first chapel had become small and dilapidated. Around 1710, the roofs were built and the ship was finished. The interior was finished during the 18th century. On the outside, the building stands out for its simplicity and sobriety. The main doorway has a lintel, above which there is a rose window. It is crowned by a flat cornice. On the right side was the old cemetery called es Sagrat.

The bell tower, with a square floor plan and four sections, is the oldest part of the building, as it was built between 1595 and 1665. The interior consists of a single nave with 7 bays, with a ribbed vault roof, a heart at the base and a polygonal chancel. Above the side chapels there is a tribune with arcades and balustrade. The main altarpiece, dedicated to Saint Anthony of Viana, was built in 1868. The chapel of Nuestra Señora del Roser is located in the fourth section.
