Isidro Arabí Andrades worked as a school teacher in sa Pobla between 1854 and 1905. The training and education process was fundamental throughout the 19th century, and the figure of the teacher Arabí was essential in the town. He taught children and adults in the evenings. He was an honest teacher who fought tirelessly to improve the education of the people. He often did not charge the most needy families and helped the peasants as a surveyor. He left his mark, nothing came easy for him. With republican ideas, he worked as a correspondent for El Iris del pueblo. He was born in Murcia in 1829...
