Can Garriga
A house of traditional typology in which, on the main façade, the vertical axes formed by the three openings per floor stand out, which are joined through an over doorway, made of sandstone ashlars. The inscription of 1895 can be seen on one of the grilles of the doors. The traditional architecture in Mallorca comes from the influences of all the settlers who have inhabited the islands at some point in history, but especially from the Romans and Muslims and, later, from the Catalans who arrived with the Conquest in 1229.
The Garriga lineage is to be found in the early 20th century land registers. Joan Garriga Maura was the secretary of the "pobler" court.
