Creu d'Amunt
Formerly located on the road from sa Pobla to Ciutat. The first stone cross was built around 1500. In 1851 another wooden cross was built on the old base, but it did not last long. In 1923, the cross, built again, was placed in the main street, with a metal santocristo. In front of this cross, on the occasion of the feast of the Holy Cross, the crops that the farmers of sa Pobla harvested in sa Marjal used to be blessed.

He lived near the Calle Mayor. In 1929 he would go to the parish church of his native village - sa Pobla - as a foster child. This situation would last until 1948, when he would move definitively to Ciudad. Mosén Bonnín Forteza was born into a simple family. The generation before 1918 did not sleep in beds, but in the haystacks, on the ceiling, the girls, in any case, on a mat, in a corner above the living room.
