S’Hostal de Can Marron

Typical traditional Mallorcan building from the 19th century. It was used as a hostel in the fifties of the twentieth century. On the façade, of large dimensions, the semicircular arch stands out, in the middle the "grif" (mythological animal) of the pobler coat of arms and the date 1844. On the garage is inscribed the date 1837. The coat of arms of sa Pobla is formed by a fantastic animal: griffin or griffin, very recurrent in the heraldic symbology. There are several theories about how this coat of arms came to our town.
